Impact resistant & non-impact resistant over-glasses.

The Over Glasses featured above with polarised lenses are primarily designed to convert your spectacles into sunglasses. These polarized over glass models have a relatively thin lens material called TAC and they are not designed for use where impact protection is required e.g. in the workplace or for shooting / target sports. As a general guide, if you need impact protection don’t use a polarized over-glass.

The non-polarised over glass models featured above use impact resistant, shatterproof polycarbonate for the lenses.
