  It may not always seem like it but according to the UK’s Met Office the number of sunny days in the UK has been rising since 1977. During the decade 2007-2016 there was the equivalent of 633 sunny days across most UK regions an increase compare to the previous two decades when the number of sunny days were 612 between 1997 and 2006 and 598 between 1987-1996.
